HR Generalist

Responsibilities The Human Resources Representative will support the HR department by providing exemplary service. Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate team member, answering general questions about human resources in order to provide quick solutions. Provides a high level of customer service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, processes employment-related paperwork, including data input into the company's HR systems. Reviews employment-related paperwork to ensure proper completion, obtains necessary supporting documents, and ensures full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and Company policies. Maintains an accurate and complete filing system. Retrieves and distributes mail in a timely fashion. Creates, prints and distributes reports as prescribed and/or requested. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Six months of experience in a similar position preferred with experience in customer service and high-volume call routing. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and in the operation of standard office equipment and software. Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
