We're Hiring | Respiratory Therapist (Full-Time) Salary: $60,153–$83,990 per year Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: May be available About the Opportunity San Luis Valley Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join its patient-focused team in Alamosa, CO. Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management. Perform airway care, suctioning, resuscitation, and bedside spirometry. Collect and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) specimens. Perform EKGs, EEGs, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and cardiac monitoring hookups. Maintain accurate patient records and EMR documentation. Educate patients on asthma management and smoking cessation. Required Qualifications Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program. NBRC credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Active Colorado respiratory therapy license in good standing. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire. Willingness to relocate to a rural area. Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
