Job Summary
The local GEICO Northshore office is looking to hire two additional Insurance Agents! Apply today to join our growing team of sales professionals.

We are looking for hardworking, experienced Property and Casualty Insurance Agents that are hungry and know how to close leads. As an agent, you will apply insurance knowledge and sales skills to educate customers on the value of GEICO’s insurance offerings, drive sales and cultivate long term customer relationships. To be successful, you must be able to effectively work DIRECT active shopping auto and cross sell leads – approximately 600 total per month. These are not purchased leads.

Responsibilities

• Call allocated leads - approximately 600 a month.
• Make sales of personal lines insurance products while bundling and cross-selling internet leads
• Pursue the sale with clients as trained through diligent and organized follow up, building rapport, and utilize objection prevention to maximize sales closure
• Demonstrate an urgency to grow your income by consistently working GEICO generated sales leads as trained
• Utilize existing contacts and provide unparalleled customer service to increase the company customer base

Qualifications

• Prior success in a sales role
• Proven experience selling all products
• Relentless salesmanship and diligent follow through with each potential customer
• Property and Casualty License
• Up to 75% of your day is speaking with customers on the phone and in person- you must be a high-energy person.
• Ability to listen to customer needs and tailor conversations in a customer-focused manner and apply 5 step close process
• Strong computer skills; ability to learn and work within multiple quoting systems
