POSITION SUMMARY

The Procurement Coordinator places timely, accurate purchase orders that keep raw materials and components flowing to the production floor without interruption. Working from established order points and demand signals, you'll own the day‑to‑day buying cycle, build strong supplier relationships, and continually look for better pricing, new sourcing options, and more reliable vendors while keeping inventory and purchasing data clean and accurate.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

PURCHASING & ORDER MANAGEMENT

Place timely, accurate purchase orders against order points, demand forecasts, and production needs. Track open orders through to receipt, chasing confirmations, ship dates, and delays before they become problems. Reconcile quantities, pricing, and lead times against agreed terms, and resolve discrepancies as they come up. Balance freight cost against timeline when coordinating inbound shipments.

SUPPLIER RELATIONS

Be the go‑to contact for our suppliers — reorders, issues, and everyday communication. Source and qualify new suppliers to expand our options and reduce single‑source risk. Compare quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and flag bigger commitments for sign‑off. Track supplier performance on price, quality, lead time, and fill rate.

PRICE IMPROVEMENT & COST CONTROL

Hunt for better pricing, alternative materials, and new sourcing options — without compromising quality. Benchmark current pricing against the market and surface cost‑saving ideas. Watch variable‑cost materials like gold and silver, and time purchases to manage price exposure.

INVENTORY ACCURACY & DATA CLEAN‑UP

Maintain accurate supplier records, costs, lead times, and reorder quantities in the ERP. Get to the root cause of inventory and purchasing discrepancies — and fix it, not just the symptom. Support cycle counts and reconcile on‑hand vs. system quantities. Standardize item, supplier, and cost data so purchasing decisions rest on solid ground.

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT YOU BRING

MUST‑HAVE

Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field — or equivalent experience. 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, buying, or inventory management. Comfort working inside an ERP or inventory system and standard PO workflows. Strong spreadsheet skills for comparing pricing, tracking orders, and cleaning data. Real experience sourcing or negotiating with suppliers.

NICE‑TO‑HAVES

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Purchasing experience in manufacturing, e-commerce, or a high‑SKU‑count environment. Experience with small components, fine materials, gemstones, or precious metals. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hello Adorn LLC
