Description: The position involves working within both the NICU and PICU departments. The facility is recognized for excellence in care and features state-of-the-art technology. Candidates should possess skills in the management and care of neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. It is important to have experience with high-risk deliveries, external transports, and pediatric critical care procedures. Candidates should be familiar with ventilation management and troubleshooting, as well as various respiratory therapies. Strong competencies in intubation, monitoring arterial blood gases, and providing pulmonary hygiene are essential. Ability to float within the scope as needed is required. References will be necessary during the hiring process. Familiarity with the use of specialized respiratory equipment is beneficial. Candidates should expect to complete non-billable modules during orientation. Compliance with health and safety policies, including natural nail policies, is expected.
