Senior Corporate Accountant

LHH has partnered with a high-growth technology company that is looking to add a Senior Corporate Accountant to their team. This is a newly created role designed to suport the Accounting Manager and Controller. Best suited for candidates comfortable with a fast-paced environment where you'll be part of setting up the company's accounting & finance infrastructure + systems. Great visibility with leadership and strong ability for progression. Responsibilities Lead core accounting operations including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and month‑end close activities across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP Maintain financial records and controls, providing thorough documentation to support internal and external audit requirements while helping to strengthen internal accounting processes. Monitor and analyze general ledger activity, investigating variances, validating account balances, and ensuring appropriate classification across business units. Support preparation of financial reporting packages, supplying accurate actuals and analytical insights to finance leadership, FP&A partners, and operational teams. Participate in audit readiness and coordination, creating schedules, responding to requests, and improving audit‑related procedures to support compliance and organizational transparency. Assist with system enhancements and ERP optimization, including improvements to workflows, reporting modules, and data quality within platforms such as NetSuite or comparable systems. Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, supply chain, FP&A, and technical teams to ensure financial data accuracy, support forecasting inputs, and improve end‑to‑end accounting processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and simplification to reduce manual effort and enhance overall accounting efficiency.
