Sr. Project Manager, Infrastructure
Intuitive Surgical
Senior Program Manager leading digital infrastructure initiatives at a medical device company. Responsible for delivering software and cloud-based programs across multiple business units while managing complex dependencies, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional teams in a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee cross-functional development programs spanning cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and operational readiness
Manage risk analysis, contingency planning, and prioritization decisions across dependent workstreams
Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards throughout program delivery
Drive discipline in requirements analysis, design, development, and testing using phase gates
Lead improvements to project management processes and product delivery methodologies
Requirements
8+ years program/project management experience with bachelor's degree (or 6+ years with master's)
Hands-on experience developing and commercializing regulated medical devices
Technical fluency in cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
Knowledge of environment management, change control, and infrastructure provisioning workflows
Strong understanding of software product development, quality control, and design principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all organizational levels
PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification desired
