OCC Seasonal HR Associate – Overview Sam‑Sons Purse is hiring a full‑time, seasonal human resources associate for the Operation Christmas Child processing center. The role runs from mid‑August through February and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays. Candidates must be 18 years or older, eager to learn, and have a heart for ministry. Responsibilities Build a ministry‑aligned team to serve in the OCC processing center. Recruit, interview, and hire individuals for specific processing center roles. Develop gospel partnerships with churches and like‑minded organizations to create a pipeline of ready‑to‑hire candidates. Provide administrative support in screening candidates and ensuring an excellent employee experience. Guide seasonal associates through onboarding and ensure accurate completion of I‑9 forms for all new hires. Review, validate, and submit seasonal associate time records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Complete quality‑control checklists for seasonal candidates. Collaborate with the Human Resources Support Project Supervisor to meet compliance guidelines. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of OCC seasonal staff as needed. Qualifications Minimum age 18 and at least 18 years old. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Prospective ability to handle phone calls and engage in verbal communication effectively. Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic. Ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate records. Quick learner who works well in a team environment. High level of discernment.
