Fabricator Lead - Bilingual

Overview We are helping our clients find a skilled and motivated Fabricator / Warehouse Lead to join our team in Gastonia, NC . Candidates need to speak both English and Spanish . This dual-role position requires hands-on fabrication expertise and the ability to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will fabricate parts and components per technical drawings while also leading inventory control, shipping/receiving, and material handling within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities Fabrication Duties Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or work orders Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, welding equipment, or machines Perform layout, fitting, and final finishing work Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards Operate CNC machines, shears, grinders, and other shop equipment Maintain a clean and safe fabrication area Warehouse Lead Duties Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping Coordinate material staging and movement to support production schedules Track inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies Supervise warehouse staff and delegate daily tasks Ensure compliance with safety and organizational standards Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment Assist with logistics coordination and vendor deliveries Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in fabrication (metal, wood, or composite) 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience Leadership or supervisory experience is a strong plus Ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and work to tight tolerances Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment (valid certification preferred) Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Familiarity with ERP or inventory software is a plus Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods #J-18808-Ljbffr Catapult Employers Association
