Job Title

Physical Therapist – Acute Care (Travel Contract)

Milwaukie, OR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (4x10-Hour Shifts, 8:00–18:00) | Onsite | Weekends Required (approximately 2–3 days per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services primarily within a MedSurg setting at a short-term acute care facility
• Float to ICU, Emergency Department, and Ambulatory Surgery Unit as needed
• Operate independently as the sole PT on shift on certain days
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Document patient care using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience
• Ability to work independently as the sole therapist on shift
• Willingness to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel contract experience in an acute care setting
• Experience working across multiple acute care units including ICU and Emergency Department
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
