Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and care plans Monitor and manage oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, and respiratory status Assist with tracheostomy care, nebulizer treatments, CPAP/BiPAP management, and ventilator support Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and rehabilitation teams to optimize resident outcomes Accurately document treatments, assessments, and resident responses in the electronic medical record Respond promptly to respiratory changes in condition and emergency situations Educate residents and families regarding respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment Qualifications Current Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) or Respiratory Technician certification, as required by state regulations BLS Certification preferred Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, hospital, or post-acute settings preferred Knowledge of respiratory equipment, oxygen management, and pulmonary care practices Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care Why Join Our Team?
