Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Onyx Care of Natchitoches. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional nutrition and meal services. Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to patients, including food preparation, tray setup, and delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to infection control standards
• Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and storage
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement menu options for patients with special dietary needs
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the dietary team

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
