You'll join a collaborative virtual team of experienced professionals dedicated to shared values of integrity, respect, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities\n\n Utilize telehealth technology to conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.\n Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients' relational dynamics, identify mental health concerns, and design individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.\n Apply family systems theory and systemic interventions to facilitate understanding of relationship dynamics, improve communication, and address family stressors.\n Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and their families.\n Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.\n Educate clients on effective communication strategies, conflict resolution, and coping mechanisms to enhance relationship quality.\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, sharing insights and resources to ensure comprehensive care for all clients.\n Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated with the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\nOur clients come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique challenges that may include relationship issues, family stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. As an LMFT at Mind Ward, you will be instrumental in positively impacting the emotional and relational well-being of individuals, couples, and families, utilizing your skills to foster healing and growth.Qualifications\n\n Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Illinois or relevant jurisdiction.\n A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.\n At least two years of relevant clinical experience in marriage and family therapy is essential.\n Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on effective virtual engagement with clients.\n Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality in all therapeutic interactions.\n Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a remote framework.\n Flexibility to accommodate a range of client schedules, including those in different time zones.\nPreferred Experience\n\n Experience providing remote therapy services is highly desirable.\n Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.\n Previous engagement in professional communities or organizations focused on marriage and family therapy.\nCompensation and Benefits\nThis role offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and education.
