Temp. 16 and 32 Hour CNA - Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our short-term rehabilitation and nursing residents. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including vital sign checks, wound care, and mobility assistance

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and progress

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Current CNA certification

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
