Senior Electrical Engineer

We're partnering with a major US organization that is continuing to expand its integrated architecture and engineering capability , delivering complex projects across Mission Critical/Data Centers, Advanced Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Healthcare and Laboratory environments. They are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the growing engineering team and take ownership of electrical design across technically complex projects. This is an opportunity to join a developing practice where engineers work closely with design, construction and prefabrication teams , with the ability to influence how projects are designed and ultimately built. What you'll be doing Lead the development of electrical designs, drawings, specifications and calculations across multiple project phases. Develop and evaluate electrical systems in line with applicable codes, standards and project requirements. Coordinate with engineers, designers and wider project teams to deliver integrated, constructible solutions. Review electrical deliverables for technical quality, coordination and alignment with project scope. Support projects through construction, including submittal reviews, RFIs and site visits . Utilize CAD/BIM tools to develop and review electrical designs and models. Support project leadership with scope, cost and technical risk considerations. Contribute to technical standards, process improvements and the development of less-experienced team members. What we're looking for 6+ years of Electrical Engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience. Active Professional Engineer (PE) license - required. Strong experience designing electrical systems for complex building/facility projects. Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards and industry practices. Experience taking projects through multiple stages of design and into construction. Strong multidisciplinary coordination and communication skills. Experience with Mission Critical/Data Centers, Advanced Manufacturing/Semiconductor, Life Sciences, Healthcare or Laboratory projects would be particularly valuable. Ground-up project experience preferred. NCEES record preferred. Why consider it? The engineering practice is still in a significant growth phase, giving incoming engineers the opportunity to have more influence than they might within a traditional, established consultancy. The wider organization provides the project pipeline, resources and stability of a major national business , while the engineering group retains the feel of a developing practice where individuals can influence standards, processes and technical delivery. The model also brings engineering much closer to construction and prefabrication , creating greater visibility into how designs are actually delivered in the field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
