Our organization is looking for a dedicated psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to become part of our integrated team in Kennebunk, Maine. This role will also extend support to locations in Saco, Biddeford, and Sanford. The PMHNP will collaborate with the Pediatrics team to deliver psychiatric consultations and care, contributing to the development of services within a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic. A key aspect of this position involves educating the care team on psychiatric strategies for addressing behavioral health issues. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about providing care to children and young adults facing behavioral health challenges.

Schedule: Part-Time (eligible for benefits), 20 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree with advanced knowledge in nursing theory and practice, along with additional medical training.
• Current and valid license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner issued by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to perform psychiatric evaluations and manage medications.
• Specific credentialing requirements must be met if working in a hospital setting as outlined by Medical Staff By-Laws.
• A minimum of 2 years of patient care experience as a PMHNP in a community mental health center or hospital is essential.
• Advanced skills and knowledge in conducting psychiatric evaluations and patient treatment.
