Travel RN - Emergency Department - 7P - 7A

Location: Aurora, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7P - 7A

Job Description: The Emergency Department is seeking a highly skilled and energetic Travel RN to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients in emergency situations. This role demands a collaborative approach and excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical and emergency care to patients in the ED.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment, including EKG and cardiac monitors.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 as per unit guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete all required ED care protocols efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ED experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred.
• Stroke experience is a plus.
