Salary Range: $545,000 to $700,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Educate, mentor, and guide residents and medical students in clinical Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Engage in a consultative model, with the option to attend deliveries if desired.
• Collaborate with a team that includes 6 Advanced Practice Providers, ARDMS-certified sonographers, 2 diabetes educators, 2 perinatal nutritionists, and a genetic counselor.
• Work in partnership with Children's Hospital of Illinois and various subspecialties, including Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Cardiology.
• Develop and present academic materials.
• Participate in shared on-call duties.
• Engage in additional related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to collaborate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching residents and medical students.
• Interest in academic leadership and scholarly pursuits.

Peoria serves as a regional campus of one of the largest and most diverse public medical schools in the U.S., with our OB/GYN residency program accepting up to four residents annually. Academic offices are connected to a quaternary care hospital featuring a Level I Trauma Center, one of the most comprehensive neuroscience centers in the Midwest, and the Children's Hospital of Illinois, the largest children's hospital in downstate Illinois.

Faculty members also have access to the Jump Simulation and Education Center, a state-of-the-art medical simulation facility that offers high-fidelity simulations in various settings, including hospital environments and operating rooms.
