Overview
The Labor & Delivery Nurse provides care for women during childbirth. They support natural births, epidurals, and C-sections in L&D units. The ideal candidate will have expertise in obstetric nursing and patient care, with experience in labor and delivery settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs.
- Assist during deliveries and cesarean sections.
- Administer medications and interventions.
- Document care in EHR systems like Epic.
- Educate mothers on childbirth and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetric teams.
