Operations Manager: Houston, TX PFP Logistics LLC Houston, Texas, United States About this position About PFP Logistics LLC PFP Logistics is a third-party (3PL) Staffing Company that works in Warehouses' Shipping and Receiving Departments across the nation. We are contracted to staff and manage the following positions: Loading and Unloading, Equipment Operators, Order Selection, Pallet Re-Stack, Labeling, and Facility Sanitation. Schedule + Pay Warehouse Hours of Operation: Monday–Saturday Salary range: $75,000–$85,000 per year, plus benefits Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of a cold storage account (Houston, TX), with the opportunity to take on additional accounts as our Houston footprint grows Supervise and coordinate team members unloading containers and other assigned projects Monitor workflow, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols Train and coach staff on proper procedures, equipment use, and cold storage best practices Maintain documentation and communicate any discrepancies or damages Engage in routine problem-solving to navigate customer requests and workload fluctuations Assist with recruiting and onboarding Analyze the site's Profit and Loss statement and report on financial performance Help build and standardize operations as we scale across multiple Houston-area sites Collaborate with the Corporate Office on projects Requirements 3–5 years of experience successfully supervising or managing a team toward set goals, objectives, or service-level agreements Prior management experience with a staffing agency or similar labor-provider environment strongly preferred; experience overseeing multiple sites or accounts is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills in a business setting; proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to identify, hire, and train talented team members Experience reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), team development, and revenue projections Effective leadership and organizational skills Ability to work independently and enforce high-quality standards What We Believe In Integrity: Do the right thing Quality: Trust in and follow the process consistently Leadership: Intentionally set the example at all times Performance: Focus on improvement to be better than yesterday Balance: Support whole-person fulfillment We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status. #J-18808-Ljbffr PFP Logistics LLC
