We are working with a National Insurance Defense Law Firm, looking for an Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 5+ years experience. This role is remote.

Requirements:

\n

\n
• 5+ years of experience
\n
• Previous insurance defense experience
\n
• Previous experience in either; medmal, products liability, premises liability, etc.
\n
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
\n
• Admitted to practice law in Washington State
\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
\n
• Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
\n
• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
\n
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings
\n

\n

The annual salary for this position is between 150k-225k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
