Licensed Optical Manager L3 – Sam’s Club Location: Middletown, NY (300 N Galleria Dr, Middletown, NY 10941-3036) Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000, paid in three installments. Compensation: $38.50–$50.00 per hour, plus applicable premiums. Position Summary Lead the Vision Center to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Drive Vision Center sales through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, inventory management, budgeting and forecasting. Model and mentor associates on customer/member service standards and resolve complaints within company guidelines. Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associate participation. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, including asset protection, safety controls and quality assurance. Supervise and develop associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties and recognizing performance. Provide high‑quality eyewear services: consult and educate members, select products, verify prescriptions, perform minor frame repairs and maintain optical equipment. Uphold the Open Door policy by meeting with associates, addressing concerns and implementing improvement plans. Coordinate job‑related activities, build relationships with stakeholders, set goals, monitor progress and promote continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications Completion of 2+ years of college education, or

1. year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or
2. years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience.
