Machine Operator

Pre-Press / Press HelperPay Rate: $17.00–$19.00/hour Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm Temp to HireJob Summary: We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Pre-Press / Press Helper to support daily printing and production operations. This position will perform a variety of hands-on duties, including preparing materials, assisting press operators, handling inks, and supporting rewinding and finished-product operations.Key Responsibilities:Mix and prepare inks for printing operations.Pull and organize printing dies and plates; some dies may be very heavy.Pull stock and production materials using a forklift.Pull boxes and cores using a forklift as needed.Build and prepare boxes for press operators and rewind operations.Assist press operators with daily production activities.Support turret rewinder operations by pulling finished rolls and boxing completed products.Maintain an organized and clean work area.Follow all safety procedures and production requirements.Perform other production and material-handling duties as needed.Qualifications:Previous manufacturing, printing, or production experience preferred.Forklift experience required or strongly preferred.Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials.Comfortable performing a variety of physical, hands-on tasks.Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
