Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:45am - 12:45pm (approximately 4 hours each day). Schedule may vary slightly during summer months due to family schedule shifts.

Compensation: $45-50/hour

About Our Family

We are a warm and thoughtful family of four navigating a new season as both parents balance evolving professional commitments while staying deeply present with our children and home life. Mom is highly hands-on and intentional in motherhood, balancing a growing career alongside the rhythms of parenting, while Dad works full-time with frequent travel and dynamic work demands.

Our two active children (ages 11 and 14) are heavily involved in dance, tennis, basketball, academics, and busy weekly schedules. As a family, we value health, organization, calm energy, and creating a home environment that feels supportive rather than rushed.

Well-being is a major priority for our family. We are intentional about minimizing processed foods, prioritizing fresh and organic meals, and creating sustainable, healthy routines for the entire household. Mom genuinely enjoys cooking and being involved in the children's routines and activities, but the current pace of life can make it difficult to consistently execute meals and household rhythms in a way that feels nourishing, calm, and easeful.

We already have support for deep cleaning and home maintenance, and are now looking for thoughtful, strategic household support centered primarily around meal preparation, kitchen management, light household organization, and helping create more ease in our day-to-day lives. We are looking for someone warm, proactive, grounded, mature, emotionally intelligent, and highly trustworthy who understands how to support a busy, high-functioning family with professionalism, discretion, and care.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are a mature, grounded, and experienced individual who brings both strong culinary capability and high emotional intelligence to the role. You are proactive, kind, professional, and naturally anticipate needs before they become stress points for the family. Ideally, you have experience supporting busy households with children and understand family dynamics, healthy boundaries, and how to thoughtfully integrate into a private home environment with warmth and discretion.

You are an experienced cook and meal prep professional who enjoys creating fresh, healthy, nourishing meals and bringing creative ideas to the kitchen. A passion for health, wellness, and sustainable living is a major plus. You take pride in helping create calm, supportive household rhythms that allow families to feel cared for.

You are responsible, reliable, collaborative, and an excellent communicator who can work independently while also remaining aligned with the family's preferences and evolving needs. You are coachable, self-managed, and take genuine ownership of your role with integrity and follow-through. Above all, you are supportive, accommodating, trustworthy, and bring a positive presence into the home.

Key Responsibilities

Meal Prep and Cooking Support

• Collaborate with the family on weekly meal planning and recipe ideas
• Prepare 5 healthy dinners per week using fresh, organic, whole food ingredients
• Prepare 3 grab-and-go breakfast options weekly (e.g., overnight oats, waffles to freeze, fresh oatmeal, pancakes)
• Prep smoothies and healthy after-school snacks
• Follow family dietary preferences: minimal red meat, no pork, no lamb; dairy sensitivity accommodations for one family member
• Provide weekly grocery list for family to order via Instacart
• Complete kitchen cleanup and maintenance after meal prep

Household Organization & Maintenance

• Daily kitchen reset: empty and load dishwasher, wipe down surfaces, take out trash
• Light tidying and vacuuming of high-traffic areas
• Occasional deep cleaning of fridge and oven.

Laundry & Linens: Weekly

• As time allows, fold 2-3 loads of laundry per visit (family will wash and dry in advance) and place in baskets for each family member

Inventory & Errands: Occasional

• Handle light returns (Amazon, Nordstrom, etc.) using QR codes no cc required
• Potentially manage dry cleaning pickup and drop-off
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies with guidance from family
