Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

MS/Telemetry Nurse

Schedule: Nights Every other weekend required

Assignment Details: 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• IV skills: start/maintain IVs, peripheral/PICC line care, central line blood draw
• Critical care support: blood product administration, ABG interpretation
• Experience with post-op cardiac/angiogram care, wound care, and feeding tube management

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for adults in a medical-surgical/telemetry environment.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Compliance / Notes:

• Pre-approved time off: 2 days (per contract)
• Travelers expected to float to like units within their scope as needed.
• Orientation and training required onsite.
