Joint & Spine is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our patient-centered practice in Waldwick, NJ. Our collaborative healthcare team includes chiropractors, physical therapists, and a nurse practitioner who work together to provide comprehensive care and exceptional patient outcomes.

Position Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to improve daily living skills, upper extremity function, fine motor coordination, cognitive performance, and overall independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
• Provide therapeutic interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, cognitive rehabilitation, and upper extremity strengthening.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and family members regarding home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and strategies for improved independence.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
• Collaborate with chiropractors, physical therapists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Participate in team meetings, continuing education activities, and occasional community outreach programs.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist license in the State of New Jersey.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred:

• Previous outpatient rehabilitation or orthopedic experience.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
