SUMMARY
Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for assisting the Grocery Manager with the operation of the Dairy department. Assists in achieving budgeted financial goals of the department. Oversees clerks within the dairy department and monitors for proper merchandising, rotation and inventory levels of dairy products to promote optimal sales opportunities. Responsible for providing a high level of customer service and courtesy at all times.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times. Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers when fulfilling their requests. Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards. Assist the Grocery Manager with day‑to‑day operations of the dairy department, including product merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, rotation and inventory levels. Assist with ordering of all merchandise and supplies for the dairy department and meeting transmission times. Store excess product in cooler or designated area. Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service within the entire store. Provide front‑end services as business needs require. Ensure compliance with all company and state sanitation and pricing procedures and regulations within grocery operations. Unload warehouse merchandise from trucks. Assist with training and development of new associates in dairy operations. Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow‑through to achieve desired results and objectives.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
