Credential: ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Equivalent Experience: Within 12 months of hire or transfer

Credential: BLS: Basic Life Support Equivalent Experience: Within 3 months of hire or transfer

Credential: TNCC: Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN Equivalent Experience: Within 12 months of hire or transfer

Credential: PALS: Ped Advance Life Support Equivalent Experience: Within 24 months of hire or transfer

Credential: RN: Registered Nurse Equivalent Experience: Knowledge of nursing technique as normally acquired through completion of at least an Associate's Degree in Nursing culminating in licensure in the State of Michigan. Knowledge of nursing skills as normally acquired through 2 years experience working in the medical center or similar setting.

Credential: ENPC: Emerg Nurse Pediatric Course Equivalent Experience: Within 12 months of hire or transfer. This is a one-time requirement for this position.

Credential: TEAM ADVANCED: Techniques for Effective Aggression Mgt Equivalent Experience: Within 6 months of hire or transfer (Employees who are in this position on or before 12/31/2023 will have 24 months to complete this certification)

Credential: NIMS IS 100: NIMS IS 100 Introduction Incident Command System Equivalent Experience: Within 6 months of hire or transfer

Credential: NIMS IS 700: NIMS IS 700 Introduction National Incident Mgt System Equivalent Experience: Within 6 months of hire or transfer

Required Education

Education: Associate degree in nursing, bachelors preferred.
