Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,222 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: evenings Employment Type: Travel Description: Work hours are 10-hour days, 4 days a week, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Includes evening and weekend call for emergency procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Required Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the Cath Lab with proficiency in impella, telemetry, and IABP. Ability to independently read telemetry strips and achieve 85% or better on the tele exam. Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred. Required Certifications: MA RT(R) License Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) RCIS certification preferred. Key Responsibilities: Perform functions related to hemodynamic and imaging under the direction of a Cardiologist. Handle ambulatory monitoring operations in the Cardiology department. Perform procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision. Conduct and record hemodynamic monitoring. Maintain proficiency through continuing education credits. Assist with radiologic operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab. Ensure quality control standards using optimal diagnostic imaging. Perform simple troubleshooting for equipment and request service when needed. Complete patient billing forms for procedures. Calibrate and maintain the film processor using sensitometric and densitometric equipment. Prepare cardiology patients for invasive procedures. Maintain confidentiality and security of all hospital, medical staff, and patient data. Abide by all relevant hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrate respect for the dignity of all patients, families, and employees. Recognize and respect cultural diversity and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
