You are responsible for taking the lead in helping build a high-performance team capable of differentiating Valvoline Instant Oil Change’s (VIOC) service experience from all other providers. In addition to working on cars and taking care of our guests, you will advise, train, and supervise hourly employees and ensure company policies and procedures are executed consistently.You’ll be expected to:\n\n\n Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services, educate guests on vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure that recommended services are reviewed\n While working on the floor, supervise daily operations of the service center and train new team members\n Build trust and win repeat, loyal customers by working with your team to ensure excellent customer service through Valvoline’s quick, easy, trusted process\n Develop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules for employees, ensuring optimal coverage, managing schedule conflicts and following labor laws\n Assist with inventory process, ensuring appropriate product levels and scheduling orders\n Assist with store audits (ex. Safety, performance, culture). All you need to do is bring your positive attitude, attention to detail, and passion for learning—and we’ll help you every step of the way. \n\nWe seek team members with:\n\n\n 1 year of supervisory experience required (coaching, training, and supervising a team), preferably in a retail or service-related environment\n Customer service mindset and demonstrated ability to build loyalty while following company procedures\n Experience in a fast-paced environment and history of making sound judgements under pressure\n Experience using KPI data to monitor performance, trends, and identify areas for improvement\n Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)\n English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking\n High School Diploma or equivalent\n\n\nWe expect you can:\n\n Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds\n Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head\n Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment\n\nWherever you are, wherever you’re going, your future starts here.
