Base pay range $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Find Great People | FGP Job Title: Shopify Full Stack Developer (Node/TypeScript) Location: Remote - prefer EST Type: Contract Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript to join our growing e-commerce development team. This role requires deep experience with the Shopify ecosystem and a strong understanding of building scalable backend systems using GraphQL, REST APIs, and AWS services. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Shopify storefronts, custom apps, and backend integrations Build scalable server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript Design and implement GraphQL and REST API integrations Manage data migrations and ensure data integrity during transitions Architect and implement efficient job queuing and asynchronous task strategies Develop and deploy Shopify functions and extensions to enhance store capabilities Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, QA, and product Required Qualifications: Strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript in production environments Proven expertise with Shopify, including theme customization and app development Solid background working with GraphQL and REST APIs Familiarity with AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) Hands-on experience with data migration strategies in e-commerce platforms Ability to implement job queues and asynchronous processing strategies Experience with Shopify Functions and Extensions (Hydrogen/Remix a plus) Preferred: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) Understanding of e-commerce workflows and best practices Job ID 50127 Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Media Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Find Great People | FGP by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Application Developer” roles.
