The Registered Nurse will advocate for patients and ensure adherence to surgical nursing practice standards. The role involves prioritizing and organizing workloads effectively while integrating multiple assignments with diverse personnel. Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential, along with a thorough understanding of sterile techniques and a commitment to teamwork. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a Registered Nurse program Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Principle Responsibilities Participate in and implement age-specific care protocols. Complete departmental orientation and follow training requirements. Collaborate with healthcare team members (RNs, LPNs, NAs, Physicians, and ancillary staff) in patient/family assessments. Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments on all patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations. Evaluate and reassess patients’ pain management needs, utilizing appropriate techniques. Shift Information Shifts are scheduled from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements. Holiday coverage is also mandatory. Certifications / Requirements Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support / Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS/BCLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Experience Requirements A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for this position.
