Responsibilities:

• First Article Inspection & Management: Oversee and manage the inspection area. This involves supervising a team of inspectors who meticulously review client order specifications and measure completed parts using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all parts meet or exceed client specifications. In cases where a part does not meet the required standards, work closely with the inspection team to address and rectify any issues promptly.
• Program Development: Develop and implement quality control programs and policies to enhance the manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance in Manufacturing with ISO Qualifications. The Quality Assurance professional will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting quality audits, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. They will also be responsible for managing and improving quality management systems and processes.

• Experience in Quality Management and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Proficiency in conducting quality audits
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of ISO standards and certification
• Experience with process improvement methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

Job Requirements:

• Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. Knowledge of steel processing is a plus.
• Precision Skills: Ability to convert fractions to decimals and read tape measures to at least the 16ths or 32nds.
• Strong Leadership: Proven leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of inspectors, ensuring a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving abilities to identify and address quality issues effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards.
