Paramedic

ParamedicWe are seeking a Paramedic, sometimes referred to as our Emergency Care Technician (ECT), Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) or Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech). A Paramedic who will assist with tasks like starting IVs, performing EKGs, monitoring vital signs, and supporting airway management. The Paramedic play a key role in trauma care, CPR, and patient transport, working closely with nurses and physicians during emergencies. The Paramedic will use many of their field skills, who will always perform under hospital protocols and supervision.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Perform clinical procedures including IV insertion, EKG acquisition, and continuous vital signs monitoring under supervisionAssist with airway management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and support during advanced airway procedures and resuscitation effortsProvide wound care, apply splints, assist with suturing, and respond as part of the team during medical emergenciesSupport patient flow by transporting patients to diagnostic areas or inpatient units and assisting with room turnover and preparationMaintain clinical readiness by stocking essential supplies and performing point-of-care testing as permitted by our hospital policyCollaborate with nurses, physicians, and EMS personnel to support trauma care, high-acuity patient management, and assist with clinical procedures and transitions of careQualificationsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
