Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and experience on Siemens scanners for a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Short term acute care, Level II Trauma teaching hospital with 209 staffed beds
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDe 1.5T scanners
• Charting completed in Epic
• Shift options include 5x9.5-hour days (11:30 AM-9:00 PM) or 2x12-hour days (7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
• Schedule runs Thursday through Wednesday, with alternate 7-on/7-off or 8-on/6-off rotations available
• On-call required one night per week from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• No weekend requirement and no floating between units

Requirements

• ARRT MR and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Siemens scanner experience required
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis imaging, MRA/MRV studies, MRCP, and musculoskeletal and neuro imaging
• May be expected to float between sister facilities within the region
• Scrubs provided in sterile units such as OR/ICU/ER/COVID units
• No parking fee at this facility
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the consideration process
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former employees may return after a 3-month waiting period if located outside the 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers are considered for this role
