This is a working Service Manager role. You run calls, you lead the technicians, and you work directly with the owner on how the business grows. Prove you can lead, and the General Manager seat is the next step as ownership moves to owner-level responsibilities.

What You'll Do

• Run advanced diagnostics, service, and repair on residential HVAC systems
• Lead, mentor, and hold the technician team to a standard on quality, safety, and customer communication
• Be the field point-person for daily operations, coordinating with dispatch and ownership
• Handle escalations and complex calls on site
• Help recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate technicians
• Work with the owner on performance metrics: revenue, average ticket, close rates, callbacks, customer satisfaction, technician productivity
• Keep vehicles stocked, maintained, and presentable
• Support permitting, inspections, and code compliance (EPA and Utah code)

What You Bring

• 5+ years residential HVAC service experience, including leading or mentoring technicians
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (NATE preferred)
• Strong diagnostic skills and technical competence
• Proven leadership; able to connect field performance to business results
• Comfortable with field service software (CRM, dispatch, job-costing)
• Clean driving record
• Professional, reliable, and able to represent the company with integrity

Compensation

$37.00–$44.00 per hour base ($87K–$100K annually), plus quarterly leadership bonus tied to crew results and performance incentives.
