Quality Assurance Supervisor

The QA Supervisor plays an important role in protecting the quality and safety of our products while ensuring our operations meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. This role helps turn food safety and quality requirements into consistent daily practices by supporting audits, environmental and microbiological monitoring, sanitation verification, training, and accurate recordkeeping. By identifying trends, addressing potential issues, and supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement, the QA Supervisor helps strengthen our food safety culture, maintain compliance, and ensure we consistently deliver safe, high-quality products our customers can trust.

What We Expect:

Quality Assurance & Food Safety

• Conduct monthly self-audits and participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Conduct the Environmental Monitoring and Microbiological Testing Program, including sample collection, documentation, and trend analysis.
• Support the QA team in annual HACCP audits and facilitate monthly Food Safety/HACCP meetings.
• Assist in annual food safety program audits and coordinate corrective and preventive actions resulting from audit findings.
• Perform sanitation audits and support ongoing sanitation verification activities.
• Maintain, review, and trend quality records including environmental micros, product testing, ATP results, and pest control data.
• Maintain records in the Nutra Division Quality & Food Safety Manual.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety, organic systems, USDA NOP, quality systems, and compliance.

Training & Compliance

• Assist in the training of personnel on food safety, worker safety, and new equipment on a monthly and annual basis.
• Assist in food safety and quality training for new hires.
• Assist with ongoing food safety training programs to ensure regulatory and customer compliance.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field related field preferably in the nutraceuticals or food manufacturing industry or a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Bilingual (English + Spanish) preferred.
• Familiarity with quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, GMP).
• Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Proven ability to drive results and meet operational goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and influence others.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant industry-specific software.
