Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for an RN in Labor & Delivery!

Job Description:


- Shift: 18:30 - 07:00
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Weatherford, TX
- Unit: Labor & Delivery (4 LDRs)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 for pit; 2:1 for others
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care in Labor and Delivery.
- Ensure immediate newborn care during the golden hour.
- Assist in PACU for C-section recovery.
- Circulate C-sections as needed.

Requirements:
- Active TX RN License ONLY (temp License not accepted).
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience.
- BLS, NR, PA, and WHONN certifications are mandatory.
- Strong skills in labor and delivery, recovery, and newborn care.

Preferred Skills:
- Ability to scrub C-sections.
- Experience with Meditech documentation system.

Unit Highlights:
- No floating policy.
- Attendance policies strictly enforced.
- Dress Code:
- Scrubs provided by the facility.
- Hair should be neat and clean; no extreme styles/colors.
- Beards and mustaches should be well-groomed.
- Body art must be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
