The Pediatric Surgeon leads the care team in providing efficient and compassionate care. Job Description Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Pediatric Surgeon PRN to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Responsibilities Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes of pediatric surgical patients. Manages the physician/patient relationship, working to assure patient and family satisfaction with care. Participates in system-wide health management initiatives. Provides input into the practice site's financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues. Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards. Receives and resolves patient complaints. Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers. Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric surgery patients. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, services, and workshops. Works to assure patient satisfaction with care. Participates in team and multispecialty group meetings. Maintains coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and reimbursement level, including legible documentation. Assists in leading Advanced Practice Clinicians in delivering appropriate patient education/care. Performs other functions as required. Qualifications
