Role Overview We're hiring a Senior Product Manager who leads with empathy for the end consumer and brings that same clarity of thinking to every experience Clever delivers, whether someone is navigating a real estate decision for the first time or an ops team member is trying to do their job without friction. This role sits at the intersection of user experience and systems thinking. You'll own product surfaces and workflows that real people interact with every day, and you'll have the technical fluency to understand what's driving the experience underneath. You'll report to Product leadership and serve as a critical cross-functional partner, helping Clever build products that earn consumer trust and scale with the business. Focus Area User Experience (External and Internal) — You'll own the product surfaces and workflows that define how people experience Clever, whether they're a consumer navigating a real estate decision, an agent managing their pipeline, or an ops team member doing their job. You'll identify where experiences break down, where trust erodes, and where a better-designed touchpoint changes the outcome for a real person. That lens applies equally to the consumer-facing flows you ship and the internal tools your colleagues rely on every day. Key Responsibilities Own product experiences that touch consumers, agents, and internal teams, always connecting design and product decisions back to real user needs and outcomes Bring a strong consumer perspective to every problem: advocate for the end user in prioritization, tradeoffs, and roadmap decisions Map the full journey of a consumer or internal user through Clever's product, and identify where the experience breaks down, creates friction, or loses trust Partner with designers and engineers to define requirements, shape flows, and ship experiences that are clear, reliable, and trustworthy Translate ambiguous user and business problems into clear specs, MVPs, and measurable outcomes Reduce friction for internal users (ops, sales, support) by replacing manual workarounds with well-designed tooling and workflows Define success metrics that reflect real user experience quality: not just engagement or uptime, but whether people are getting the outcome they came for Use AI tools heavily to accelerate research, discovery, documentation, prototyping, and analysis What Success Looks Like In 6 months... Deep understanding of Clever's users and the journeys they navigate. Trust earned across Design, Engineering, Operations, and Product leadership. Highest-impact experience gaps identified and turned into a clear roadmap. Early improvements shipped and validated with real users. In 12 months... Measurably better experiences for consumers and internal teams. Clearer, more trustworthy touchpoints across Clever's core flows. Internal teams spending less time on friction and workarounds. Leadership has visibility into how experience quality connects to consumer trust and business outcomes.
