Pediatric CVOR RN Travel Assignment

Seeking a highly skilled Pediatric CVOR RN for a self-scheduling, eight-week travel assignment at a dedicated pediatric cardiac center. The role involves performing open heart surgeries and other specialized procedures in a fast-growing unit with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pediatric cardiovascular operating room procedures, including open heart surgeries and bedside closures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as echocardiography, cath lab, and anesthesia to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately using the EMR system.
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiac surgery patients in ICU and perioperative settings.
• Participate in team call rotations and respond promptly to emergent situations as required.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with pediatric CVOR experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of recent operating room or cardiac ICU experience.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills.
• Able to handle high-performance environments with a focus on pediatric cardiovascular care.
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
