Registered Nurse - Operating Room Days

Responsibilities Our O.R Fellowship Program offers a dynamic experience that will positively impact your ability to provide quality, compassionate care as you transition from student nurse to professional nurse. With support from OR Educators and your preceptors you will participate in Perioperative 101, learning how to scrub and circulate, develop clinical skills, and enhance your professional development. For experienced O.R nurses: bi‑weekly orientations are required during the day shift (7 am – 3:30 pm). Shift: days, with some on‑call requirements (self‑schedule). Qualifications Requires Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current state of Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license. RN must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exception: candidates without a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute‑care experience, subject to CNO approval. Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
