Direct message the job poster from Staff Agency.com LLC (formerly Delta Hire, LLC) We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant with significant experience in Accounts Payable to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment, maintains strong stakeholder/client relationships, and ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will also support general accounting functions, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, purchase order matching, payment runs, and client account maintenance • Review and verify coding of invoices and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls • Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes by preparing AP accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries • Maintain files and support preparation of 1099s and other compliance documents • Collaborate with internal departments and external clients to ensure efficient workflow and issue resolution • Assist in corporate credit card reconciliation and employee expense reports • Support audit requests and help ensure documentation and controls are audit-ready • Participate in process improvement initiatives and automation of AP procedures • Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or corporate accounting, preferably in a mid to large-size company • Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls • Proficiency in accounting systems QuickBooks and Excel • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively • Experience with AP automation tools is a plus Preferred Attributes: • Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment • Familiarity with ERP systems and modern financial tools • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Administrative Industries Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Staff Agency.com LLC (formerly Delta Hire, LLC) by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Accountant” roles.
