Jackson & Coker is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a locum tenens opportunity in Missouri. This role involves providing acute psychiatric care in an inpatient setting, managing a diverse patient population with various psychiatric disorders. The position offers a consistent schedule with no call or nights, focusing on patient admissions and comprehensive psychiatric treatment. Practice Info Acute psychiatric unit/institute 16-18 patients per shift Trauma Level: III Support staff includes RNs and 2 PA/NPs EMR: Epic Responsibilities Perform admissions Treat anxiety disorders Treat affective disorder Treat ADD/ADHD Treat personality disorders Treat eating disorders Treat development disorders Treat psychotic disorders Treat organic disorders Benefits Top-rated malpractice insurance Full-service in-house travel agency and credentialing coordinators Shift & Schedule Beginning as soon as credentialed Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM One weekend per month, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 20-22 shifts per month Not a 7 on / 7 off model No call or nights Requirements Board certified or board eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years of residency) Missouri license or IMLC BLS Epic experience required Local provider - Preferred
