Description [Responsibilities] Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of ALMGHospitality.com/operations. Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties. Understand and comply with standards, policies, and procedures. Uses the Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products; does not rely on the memory of oneself or others. Measure, wash, peel, cut, grind, and mix ingredients to prepare for cooking or serving. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service. Promptly inform supervisors when equipment is not working properly and when food and supplies are getting low, and order needed items. Clean and sanitize workstation area and all kitchen equipment. Wash and clean tableware, dishes, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area with vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash. Keep records of the quantities of food used. Take and record temperature of food and food storage areas, such as refrigerators and freezers. Complete opening and closing checklists and assist others in opening and closing the kitchen. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement. Assist in training new fellow employees according to up-to-date training manual.
