Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Belleville, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift role requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications and at least 1 year of telemetry experience.Details\n \n Acute care Magnet-designated hospital setting on a Telemetry unit\n Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15)\n Patient ratios of 1:5-6\n Every other weekend required\n No on-call requirements\n Float required between two campuses within scope as needed\n Assists with bedside procedures including line insertion and thoracentesis\n Manages cardiac drips (no titration required)\n Uses EPIC charting system\n Requirements\n \n Active IL RN license required in hand at time of consideration\n Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS\n Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required\n Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response\n Experience managing cardiac drip medications\n Additional Information\n \n Provide telemetry-focused nursing care including cardiac monitoring and emergency response\n Navy scrub color required\n Maximum of 7 days RTO within the 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week of assignment\n Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Returning permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler\n Standard travelers may work up to 18 months total, followed by a required 3-month break in service\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-757066.
