What You'll Do

• Acting as the main technical expert on site, offering guidance to construction crews and subcontractors
• Ensuring project adherence to engineering, design specifications, industry standards, and construction regulations
• Supporting the resolution of construction issues, deviations from plans, and unforeseen challenges
• Coordinating with home office engineering teams for issue resolution when required
• Reviewing and processing submittals, RFIs, and field documentation
• Maintaining accurate project documentation for field markup
• Supporting plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities, as required
• Reporting status of open technical issues to Lead Field Engineer
• Performing any other duties assigned
• Adhering to internal standards, policies, and procedures

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience in the construction of large high voltage substations
• Strong technical background in the installation of electrical equipment and associated subsystems
• Experience with high, medium, and low voltage installations, grounding, and substation design
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams, clients, and regulatory entities
• Excellent written and oral skills are required
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license not required
