Restoration Technician - $18-$20+/hour

Location: Hastings, NE
Pay: $18-$20+/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, plus rotating on-call/emergency work after hours and on weekends

We're hiring a Restoration Technician in Hastings! This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, variety and seeing the results of a job well done. You'll help restore homes and businesses following water damage, fires, mold, severe weather and other unexpected events.

As a Restoration Technician, you'll work directly at residential and commercial properties, so professionalism, dependability and trustworthiness are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess property damaged by water, fire, mold and severe weather
  • Perform water extraction and cleanup services
  • Clean, pack and store salvageable belongings and property
  • Remove damaged drywall, plumbing and other materials
  • Assist with repairs and replacement of damaged materials
  • Decontaminate and deodorize affected areas
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Move equipment, materials and belongings as needed
  • Respond to emergency restoration calls after hours and on weekends as scheduled
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance while working in customers' homes and businesses
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, bending and climbing stairs
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Honest, trustworthy and respectful when working on customers' property
  • Professional and presentable appearance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours and weekend emergency/on-call work
