The Work: Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for: Establishing a test framework and automated tests utilizing Cucumber and Cyprus Knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology. Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing Agile development and delivery of software Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph. Desired Skills: 2 of the below: Cumber/Gherkin, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium Tools: Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA) S/W: java, java script, python, ansible Other: Kubernetes, docker, CI/CD Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,200 - $225,975. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
