Quality Control Technician

We are currently looking for energetic Quality Control Team Members in the Arden, NC area. These are experienced full time positions.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze data and make decisions on product quality while working closely with production to resolve issues if product is outside of specifications.
• Pull random samples for routine testing
• Check packaging for correct labeling and code information.
• Responsible for the execution of procedures, process documentation and continuous improvement programs.
• Ability to be able to write and help implement SOP’s and Work Instructions
• Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to interpret specifications and apply to results
• Approve and/or reject incoming raw materials.
• Knowledge of non-conformance, deviation and CAPA programs.
• Calibrate, clean and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Understand and comply with Quality Food/Safety and safety requirements in place.
• Check HACCP critical control points and HACQP critical quality points and ensure proper corrective actions are taken to maintain food safety and quality at all times.

• Proven experience in Quality Control experience in a food and or beverage facility is preferred.
• Experience with GMP practices.
• Familiarity with standard lab equipment.
• Familiarity with microbiological practices in a food processing environment a plus. 
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment. 

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Arden, NC

Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday 4:00 pm-12:30 am

Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 depending on experience
